Are You Prepared For An Emergency?

If you were to break down on the side of the road, would you be prepared? If you have a T3 Tracker you can send your coordinates to family or a friend so that they can easily send help. But what about while you’re waiting for help to arrive? Do you have supplies to keep yourself safe?

We recommend keeping the following items in your car in case of emergency.

  • First Aid Kit
  • Flashlight with batteries
  • Quart of oil
  • Rag
  • Water
  • Protein Bars
  • Duct Tape
  • Jumper Cables
  • Blanket
  • Matches

Emergency preparedness kits come in all shapes and sizes. You can always add more, but we wouldn’t recommend starting with anything less than the items listed above.

Some other items you may want to consider adding are:

  • Flares
  • Hand Warmers
  • Sunscreen
  • Phone Charger
  • Basic Tools
  • Change of clothes
  • Poncho
  • Gloves

Is there anything we haven’t mentioned that you think should be included in an emergency kit?

TECH TIP: If your vehicle has an emergency or a crash, the driver can turn off the key and sound the horn for at least 8 seconds and T3 will send a vehicle alarm to the owner (and authorized emergency contacts). This assumes you had the yellow wire connected to the vehicle horn during the installation and that your horn does sound with the key off.
