When you own a classic car, most likely you are interested in preserving your vehicle and looking for advice on restoration from others that own other classic vehicles. Besides preserving and restoring your classic you can also head to events in your area to meet individuals that are interested in the same thing as you are. The best way to gain information, advice and meet people is by joining a car club. By joining a car club you are able to meet people with common interests,  find items for sale, participate in races, cruising and shows that you might not of known of, if you were not involved in a car club.

Now, all you need to do is find the right classic car club that would work for you. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorites that are nestled throughout the United States.

Veteran Motor Club of America – This organization has chapters throughout the United States and  it’s dedicated to the restoration and enjoyment of historic automobiles. Best known as the touring club. The Veteran Motor Club also publishes bi-monthly, award winning magazine, The Bulb Horn and has a Facebook group that is available for all to join. 

The American Classic Car Club – Formed during the 1970’s, so it’s been around forever.  It continues to be a strong club of like-minded people of all ages, like-minded in that all members have a passion for American Classic Cars. Club members are owners of a very wide range of American Classic Cars ranging from the 1930’s to the 1990’s. You can easily browse the website to get an idea of what the club is about but members get full advantage of getting first hand information on events and buying/selling options.

Antique Automotive Club of America – Started with just 14 enthusiasts from the Philadelphia area in 1935, it quickly grew and is now still going strong throughout the United States. The AACA recognizes that a person’s love for vintage cars can start at a young age. Therefore they not only have adult memberships but for juniors too. No need to own a antique, you just need to appreciate the space and have a love for antique vehicles.

Vintage Sports Club of America –  is the oldest club in America with an emphasis on rare and unusual sports and racing cars. This is a member club which everyone needs to apply and be recommended by two members of the club. If you don’t know a member, no problem. You can still attend events and get to know the members and the club.

Classic Car Club of Manhattan – Now if you are looking for luxury you’ve found it with this car club. Membership fees are steep but as a member you will have an opportunity to drive some of the most amazing classic cars in the world. Besides driving amazing cars as a member you will have an opportunity to network, go on road trips and attend other member only events.
