Kill Coronavirus in Your Car

Times are scary right now. These past few days, weeks, and months have been flipped upside down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Here at 911 Tracker we are practicing social distancing and taking the CDC recommendations very seriously. Please know we are still here to help in any way possible. Our hearts go out to those who have been impacted by this pandemic. We want to send out a huge THANK YOU to those helping to keep our loved ones safe.

According to the CDC, washing hands and cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces are two of the best ways to defend against spreading the coronavirus. To ensure you are staying safe in all areas of your life, here are some tips on how to disinfect your car:

1. Clean Frequently Touched Areas – Clean frequently touched surfaces, including the steering wheel, door handles, shift lever, any buttons or touch screens, wiper and turn signal stalks, passenger and driver door armrests, grab handles, and seat adjusters.

2. Use Cleaners With At Least 70% Alcohol – With a few exceptions, many of the household cleaners that kill corona viruses can also clean a car without damaging its interior.

3. Wash Your Hands After Cleaning – This step is really important to remember. Help prevent carrying any germs around with you by washing your hands immediately after cleaning.

Tech Tip – If a family member is traveling with your vehicle and you would like to know their location but they have driven into a remote area that is not within range of a cell tower, just ask T3 for its current gps location. The cell carrier system automatically keeps trying to deliver the message. As soon as the vehicle is driven back into a cell coverage area, T3 will receive the message and respond with the current location.
